Friday Nooner: Talking AI And Home Design With Bristles’ Tina Tang

Home re-designers, project-doers and DIYers, this week’s edition of the Friday Nooner is for you. Our guest was Tina Tang, the Co-Founder and CEO of Durham-based Bristles, an AI-powered mobile app for designing home DIY and upcycling projects.

We first profiled the startup in November, 2021, after it received a $10K MICRO grant from NC IDEA. Last month it received a $50K investment from Primordial, which is Colopy Ventures’ new initiative that invests in seed-stage startups.

The GrepBeat gang also plugged Grep-a-palooza 2, which—if you can believe it—is now less than a week away. We hope you will buy a ticket and join us next Thursday, June 1. Though remember that the after-party that kicks off at 4 p.m. at Bull McCabe’s is open to all whether or not you attended the conference; you just won’t get any drink tickets like the attendees will.
