To expedite and seed the launch of the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program (IHEP), NC IDEA seeks approximately 20 organizations to deliver the first wave of IHEP.  NC IDEA will fund the training of your facilitator(s).

Organizations must be:

  • Located and working in North Carolina
  • Interested in developing an entrepreneurial mindset within their own organization or the people/entities/companies that they support
  • A government entity, educational institution, entrepreneurial support organization, economic development organization, CDFI or corporation

The person attending the facilitator training must have an ongoing relationship with the organization – an employee, contractor or volunteer (training or leadership consultants unaffiliated with an organization need not apply).

NC IDEA will pay for the cost of facilitator training. To be eligible for NC IDEA supported IHEP Facilitator Training, the facilitator and organization applying must:

  • Agree to offer the Ice House curriculum within six months of facilitator training
  • Commit to sending an excellent candidate(s) for facilitator training
  • Pay travel expenses to the training
  • Provide updates to NC IDEA about your experience with the program (number of participants, outcomes, etc.)

Organizations with demonstrable intent and capacity to offer the program to individuals broadly, will be given priority consideration, as will organizations who are actively working in economically distressed counties.

If you are excited and eligible, please apply here.  The number of seats available for NC IDEA’s upcoming facilitator training on December 12-14, 2018 in Durham, NC is limited. The deadline to apply is December 5th at 5pm EST or after all seats have been filled.
