Application Open for NC IDEA LABS

Apply today to be in the January cohort of NC IDEA LABS. NC IDEA LABS has established itself as the premier program of its kind in North Carolina. More than 140 companies and 250 founders have participated. Nearly half of these companies are still operating today; 30 have raised more than $30 million in equity funding, 17 have been awarded NC IDEA SEED grants and 14 have been accepted into full-time accelerator programs, including Techstars and Healthbox. Read more details about the program here.

First Cohort of NC IDEA LEAD Announced 

NC IDEA has partnered with the NextGen Center in Durham, NC to provide personalized training for ten founders and executives of high-potential, high-growth companies. The program focuses on improving problem-solving and strategy development, increasing the participant’s ability to lead others toward company goals, building effective communication competencies and developing other skills that are essential for emerging North Carolina CxO’s anticipating significant near-term growth.

The selected program participants for the first cohort of NC IDEA LEAD include:

Candidates for NC IDEA LEAD were nominated by NC IDEA ECOSYSTEM Partners, local investors and other friends of the Foundation. There is currently no outside solicitation for applications.

Applications for Launch Chapel Hill’s 9th Cohort are now open!

Launch Chapel Hill is a start-up accelerator located in the heart of downtown Chapel Hill at 306 West Franklin Street! In 2015, Launch was named a top 5 university business accelerator in North America by UBI Global Index, an international benchmarking organization.
