The Carolina Small Business Development Fund fosters economic development in underserved communities by providing capital, business services and policy research to support small businesses. NC IDEA grant funds support the Eastern Women’s Entrepreneurship Center (EWEC) created through a partnership between Carolina Small Business Development and Elizabeth City State University to provide an ecosystem of support to female entrepreneurs that will provide sustainable growth and job creation in Northeastern North Carolina.
