RALEIGH — Social Cascade, a Raleigh-based social media management company has filed with the SEC for funding of $25,000, with the goal of raising $75,000 more. In late June, the company was added to the 2023 Primordial cohort.

Started in 2021, the company was founded by Lucy Kosturko, Scott McQuiggan, and Philippe Sabourin. It targets healthcare practices, aiming to provide support for social channels to provide content, education, and data on engagement. The initial focus is on pediatricians and early childhood education.

Social Cascade was a recipient of the Fall 2022 NC IDEA SEED grant, earning $50,000 in a competitive pool that included 158 applications from across the state. The company also participated in the 2022 CED GRO Incubator.
