As part of our ‘Meet Our Founders’ series today, we introduce Q. Nicole Vanderhorst, CEO of WH Farms Co. based in Charlotte, NC. WH Farms Co. cultivates industrial hemp & manufactures beauty and wellness products. Offering white labeling services, we help businesses create income in the CBD industry.
Q: What problem are you trying to solve and what influenced you to start your company?
A: When I launched this company, I knew that I wasn’t the only CBD patient who desired to see more trustworthy CBD brands in the market. So I decided to both cultivate and manufacture quality CBD products for individuals endeavoring to develop product lines in this space.
Q: When did you know you wanted to take an entrepreneurial path?
A: I knew I wanted to take an entrepreneurial path when the potential to be a great contributor to society urging from within me could no longer be silenced – even in slumber.
Q: What is your favorite productivity app?
A: Slack! Hands down, the most amazing communication tool ever. I sometimes arrive to the party late, but if I am late to Slack, I am sticking around for the after party. I absolutely love it.
Q: What other passions do you have besides your business?
A: I love travel, both internationally and domestic. My husband is from Mount Pleasant so I have fallen in love with the Low Country. I also enjoy mentoring – I have a passion for positively imparting into teenage youth.
