NC IDEA FOUNDATION Announces Upcoming Application Dates for NC IDEA LABS

Organization Seeking Applications from Ambitious Entrepreneurs Starting March 11

 

 DURHAM, NC – March 5, 2020 – NC IDEA, a private foundation committed to supporting entrepreneurial ambition and economic empowerment in North Carolina, announced today that the organization will begin accepting applications for NC IDEA LABS starting March 11. The first cohort of 2020 will run May 26 through June 19.

NC IDEA LABS is an intensive four-week program that helps entrepreneurs take their first steps toward building a successful company. The program guides entrepreneurs through the process of identifying and targeting customers, then validating product/market fit. Entrepreneurs spend much of the time communicating directly with potential customers, gathering feedback and assessing demand.

Interested applicants may attend any of the following information sessions to learn more about the program and how to write a competitive application.

  • Info Session via Webinar – Thursday, March 26 at 2:00pm
  • In-Person Q&A Session – Tuesday, March 31 at 12:00pm

The upcoming application opportunity for the first 2020 cohort of NC IDEA LABS, running early summer, will open on March 11 with applications due April 15 at 5:00pm EST. Finalists will be interviewed during the last two weeks of April and selected participants will be notified by May 1.
