In March 2025, NC IDEA made its largest funding announcement to date, with over $1.7M in funding awarded to eighteen ECOSYSTEM partners and eleven Rural Impact grants to companies across the state. Over $1.2M is dedicated to support the needs of rural entrepreneurs, including $500K from Wells Fargo.
