As part of our ‘Meet Our Founders’ series today, we introduce Jason Brown, CEO and Founder of Deliveri based in Cary, NC. Deliveri is an e-commerce logistics tech stack purpose-built for early-stage consumer brands. We provide discounted shipping rates and tools to enhance the shipping experience.
Q: What problem are you trying to solve and what influenced you to start your company?
A: The problem that many early-stage brands face is access to affordable tools that enable them to scale their business. Most e-commerce tools are built for enterprise-level customers, leaving the small and early-stage brands to fend for themselves. We are bringing enterprise-level tools to these smaller customers who make up roughly 95% of all e-commerce businesses. Tools like landed costs, returns management, discounted shipping labels, tracking, and more.
Q: What are you most excited about right now? What keeps you up at night?
A: I am most excited about the advancements in accessibility for starting an e-commerce brand. It has never been easier to start an e-commerce brand, and because of that, more people need a shipping partner.
Q: What have you enjoyed most about starting your own company?
A: The thing I love most about starting my own company is seeing the value we bring to our customers and how we are truly saving them money. We get to celebrate in their success just as much as they do, and to me that has been a very rewarding experience.
Q: What other passions do you have besides your business?
A: I am very passionate about youth sports and coaching my kids’ sports teams. I especially enjoy coaching their soccer teams and introducing them to a sport that gave me so much in my life.
