Path Intelligence – SEED Fall 2025
Published February 11, 2026
As part of our ‘Meet Our Founders’ series today, we introduce Nate Robert-Eze, Founder and CEO of Path Intelligence based in Charlotte, NC. Path Intelligence is a real estate buyer intelligence platform that helps developers identify and convert serious buyers faster through AI-powered, immersive, always-on experiences.
Q: What problem are you trying to solve and what influenced you to start your company?
A: Most people struggle to truly visualize a space from floor plans and static renderings alone, which slows decisions and creates friction in the sales process. When I was young, I developed the ability to visualize spaces using 3D tools like SketchUp, and I realized that this skill is not common. That gap between how professionals see a project and how buyers experience it is what inspired PATH. I want to make it effortless for anyone to explore and understand the built environment digitally, so decisions are faster, more confident, and more inclusive.
Q: What are you most excited about right now? What keeps you up at night?
A: I am most excited about getting this product into the hands of the developers and sales teams who need it the most. Seeing customers use PATH to accelerate presales and de-risk projects is incredibly motivating. What keeps me up at night is moving fast enough: making the right product decisions, hiring the right people, and building the right partnerships to capture this moment in the market.
Q: What does the road ahead look like for your company?
A: We are focused on deepening our integrations with leading virtual tour platforms and CRM systems so PATH fits seamlessly into existing sales workflows. Strengthening our product infrastructure will allow us to support larger enterprise clients and more complex portfolios. From there, we plan to scale distribution through channel partners and strategic alliances in real estate, proptech, and marketing.
Q: How will your NC IDEA grant funds advance your company?
A: NC IDEA grant funding will help us accelerate enterprise pilots and turn them into long-term customers. It will also allow us to hire local North Carolina talent in product, engineering, and customer success, which is critical to scaling the business. These investments will move us faster toward a repeatable, scalable go-to-market motion.
Q: When did you know you wanted to take an entrepreneurial path?
A: I knew at a very young age that I wanted to work for myself and build things. I started as a 12-year-old buying and selling shoes at school, learning how to spot demand and move product. Later, I worked at a barbershop where I had control over my hours and my income, which reinforced my desire for independence. Those early experiences showed me that entrepreneurship was not just an idea but a path I could actually walk.
Q: What is one thing you wish you understood about entrepreneurship before you ever got started?
A: Every experience in business has been a valuable lesson for me, even the hard ones. However, I wish I had understood the importance of finance and cash flow management much earlier. Knowing how to forecast, manage burn, and structure capital can change the trajectory of a company. Mastering those skills sooner would have allowed me to move faster with more confidence.
Q: Who do you look to for advice and mentorship?
A: I lean on our advisors and people I respect who have built and scaled businesses before. Their pattern recognition and honest feedback help me avoid avoidable mistakes. I also learn a lot from documentaries, interviews, and podcasts featuring great operators and inventors, and I regularly study how they think about strategy, leadership, and decision-making.
Q: What other passions do you have besides your business?
A: Outside of the company, music is a major passion of mine. I play four instruments: guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard. Creating and playing music gives me a different kind of flow, and sparks creativity in my work.
