As part of our ‘Meet Our Founders’ series today, we introduce Ariana Abramson, Co-Founder and CEO of DivySci Software based in Durham, NC. DivySci is a behavioral analytics platform for teams. Our goal is to augment behavior to reduce microaggressions and biases in the workplace.
Q: What problem are you trying to solve and what influenced you to start your company?
A: We believe the future relies on organizations deconstructing systems of racism, bias, and exclusion while connecting authentically with their diverse stakeholders. As women of color in tech, we have experienced microaggressions and biases throughout most of our careers. We are excited to combine our lived experiences and expertise to support organizations and institutions in creating equitable spaces for historically excluded groups to excel.
Q: How will your NC IDEA grant funds advance your company?
A: We are excited to work with NC IDEA to test our initial assumptions, grow our software waitlist and build our digital marketing strategy. In addition, NC IDEA will help us gain visibility while connecting us with the greater North Carolina innovation ecosystem.
