Describe your organization in 25 words or less
We advocate for economic mobility by helping disadvantaged businesses grow.
How does your organization support entrepreneurs?
We offer coaching and learning services to help entrepreneurs of color start, build, and grow a profitable and sustainable business. Our programs give you access to practical strategies and real-world advice from a team of experienced business coaches and training facilitators, who shared your lived experiences. We design and deliver content, with relevant images, videos and stories, that speaks directly to the unique experiences of entrepreneurs of color.
Where do you see your organization in 5 years
We are committed to making entrepreneurial success attainable for all people — irrespective of socioeconomic status or background. And we’re on a mission, by 2030 to empower 1000+ black and brown business owners to surpass a quarter million dollars in annual revenue.
How has the NC IDEA BEC ECOSYSTEM grant helped your organization?
Thanks to this grant, we were able to launch Luna Launchpad, a 10-week business accelerator program empowering Black female entrepreneurs. The grant funding will allow us to secure a great venue and hire a PR team, who will promote the program and effectively reach our target audience.
Who benefits from your organization’s work
Entrepreneurs of color who are looking to start a business or are in the process of growing and building their businesses but are struggling to take that next leap into reaching their short- or long-term goals benefit from the work we do.
